On March 15, 2023, the 26th China International Food Additives and Ingredients Exhibition and the 32nd National Food Additive Production and Application Technology Exhibition (FIC2023) were grandly held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai). The exhibition lasted for 3 days.
Due to long time delay for COVID-19, all food related person are waiting for this grand trade show. Before the opening time of the first day, the exhibitors had already lined up in a long line. The exhibition site was full of people, and the professional audience was full of enthusiasm. The exhibition area of more than 150,000 square meters reached a new records! This exhibition brought together 1519 outstanding exhibitors in the industry, including 487 exhibitors in the international trade exhibition area and 1032 exhibitors in the domestic exhibition area.
This exhibition consists of three major sections: food industry raw and auxiliary materials, food industry machinery and equipment, and food industry innovation technology. There are six exhibition halls in total, covering tens of thousands of products in the entire industry, including 23 categories of food additives and 35 categories of food ingredients. 14 categories of food processing aids, enzyme preparations, various food industry raw and auxiliary materials, health food; equipment, books and packaging materials related to the food industry.
FIC 2023 has total 420,000 registered audience, which double size than 2022. Most visitors said that this is most crowded exhibition they had ever seen, also reflects from the side the information of people’s strong food consumption needs and the huge potential of food relates market development.
